RESAMA announced the 8th edition of its annual meeting in Toulouse, from Monday 27 to Wednesday 29 October 2025.
This edition was aimed at everyone working with model, farmed or wild aquatic animals, with exchanges dedicated to husbandry practices, health monitoring, animal welfare and feedback from facilities.
Call for presentations
The community was invited to submit presentations on the network’s usual themes: housing facilities, improvement of husbandry practices, experimental or veterinary developments, health approaches, protocol refinement, animal behaviour and projects related to aquatic species.
Proposals could be submitted through the RESAMA presentation form to build a programme reflecting the work and questions carried by the community.
An edition connected to zebrafish research
A new feature of the 2025 edition was its connection with the French zebrafish meeting, also scheduled in Toulouse after the RESAMA event.
A joint day was planned on Wednesday 29 October, with shared workshops between the two communities.
