Purpose and scope of the information

The website presents RESAMA’s activities and publishes information about the network, its scientific meetings, working groups, and the health, husbandry and welfare of model, farmed and wild aquatic animals.

Scientific, technical and regulatory information is provided for general purposes. It does not replace an assessment of a particular situation or tailored veterinary, legal or regulatory advice. Official versions of cited legislation and guidance should be checked with the relevant authorities and organisations.

Intellectual property

The website structure and its texts, logos, images, illustrations, documents and downloadable files are protected by applicable intellectual-property rules and remain the property of RESAMA, its partners or their respective rights holders.

Any reproduction, representation, modification, adaptation or use, whether in whole or in part, requires the rights holder’s prior permission unless permitted by law or an expressly stated licence. Short quotations are allowed provided that the source, the author where known and a link to the relevant page are clearly given.

Liability and external links

Website security

The website’s security is reviewed regularly using independent assessment services.

• HTTPS/TLS configuration: A+ rating from Qualys SSL Labs. This test assesses the TLS certificate, supported protocols and cipher suites, and the general configuration of the HTTPS server.
• HTTP security headers: A+ rating from Security Headers. This test checks the protections sent to the browser, including the Content Security Policy (CSP), enforced HTTPS through HSTS, protection against third-party framing, and restrictions placed on browser features.

These results reflect technical assessments performed at a specific point in time. They may change with the website or server configuration or with the assessment services’ criteria, and do not constitute an absolute guarantee that the website is free from vulnerabilities.

Performance and delivery

The website is generated as static pages and deployed on Cloudflare Pages. Its files are delivered through Cloudflare’s global network and platform caching mechanisms, bringing content closer to visitors and limiting repeated transfers.

Depending on browser and network compatibility, exchanges may use HTTP/2 or HTTP/3. Communications are protected by HTTPS/TLS, and responses may be compressed by the platform to reduce transferred data.

Cloudflare Web Analytics is enabled to measure audience and real-world performance, including Core Web Vitals. The service does not use cookies or local storage and is not used by RESAMA to track visitors across websites. Details of this processing are provided in the Privacy Policy.

These mechanisms support performance and resilience but do not guarantee a particular loading time, which also depends on the device, browser, connection quality, visitor location and cache state.
