RESAMA announced the 7th edition of its annual meeting in Lyon, from Monday 2 to Wednesday 4 December 2024.
Open to professionals working with model, farmed or wild aquatic animals, the meeting provided a space for exchange on husbandry practices, health monitoring, animal welfare and tools useful to housing facilities.
Call for presentations
The network invited the community to propose short or extended presentations to share feedback, facility projects, practice improvements, methodological developments or work related to aquatic-species health and husbandry.
Topics included facility presentations, health approaches, refinement, reduction in the number of animals used, husbandry projects, animal behaviour and monitoring of new species.
Programme and registration
Registration was free but mandatory. The first two days were dedicated to scientific and technical presentations, including a session on animal-facility management software.
Wednesday 4 December was reserved for visits and training sessions, subject to specific registration, to continue exchanges on field practices.
