RESAMA announced the opening of registration for the 6th edition of its annual meeting, held on Tuesday 28 and Wednesday 29 November 2023 in Brest.
The event was open to all stakeholders involved in aquatic-animal research, from animal care staff and field technicians to researchers. The network also highlighted the inclusion of wild aquatic species, housed or not, alongside model and farmed species.
Registration and programme
As in previous editions, registration was free but mandatory, with a limited number of places. The registration deadline was Monday 30 October 2023.
The programme included two days of exchange on husbandry practices, health monitoring, animal welfare, 3R approaches and feedback from facilities working with aquatic species.
Call for presentations
The community was invited to submit presentations on the network’s usual topics: housing facilities, refinement of experimental or veterinary techniques, improvement of husbandry practices, development of new species, fieldwork, health monitoring and knowledge of diseases.
Research-site visits were also offered on Thursday 30 November, subject to specific registration and available places.
